If I were Pharaoh
Who’s in the world does know pharaoh? He was the emperor of a kingdom with high civilization. His kingdom stretch from Mesopotamia to Jordan valley and pharaoh is so popular from old age even until today in the age of digital millennium. The popularity story of pharaoh often tell from age to age orally and textually, three holly books of three big religions ( Islam, Christian, and Jew ) put his story. If I was pharaoh, of course I will be proud of my popularity that never fades away along the time. Who is in this world that doesn’t want to be popular?
The title of pharaoh was so prestigious, this top executive title, made him an absolute leader in the kingdom of Egypt. His words became law in his entire authority. If I was pharaoh, of course, my authority and title I have had would make me powerful. All of my words don’t matter right or wrong should be implemented in entire kingdom. With my power in hand, people would come to me respectfully, they would bend their knee in front of me, and the licker would scheduled themselves to meet with me, they came with all world pleasures and follow my words, and even, they would not mind if I ask them to kiss my ass, or grovel at my feet. Who is in this world that doesn’t want to have such a big authority like that? Especially for someone that ever felt the sweetest feeling of had an authority in his arm.
Kingdom of pharaoh where the people knew alphabetical, pictograph, hieroglyph, hieratik and demotik, while half of world still covered with illiteracy.Their great progress in technology made them able to built huge buildings; karnax-luxor, Sphinx or pyramids. Their knowledge in land and soil made hot land of Africa dessert became agrarian land, and made his kingdom wealth and prosperous. And pharaoh as a king and also as the most number one man in wealth and prosperous from Egypt empire, should also become the only number one in wealth and prosperous amongst all man in his kingdom, no matter with his dummy people who’s suffered of his forced labor to built huge buildings, the important thing upon it, pharaoh has announced policy to fed them (in small portion) three times a day. And actually that policy was too good for them, though his people had to face sunburn, sweat and work hard, or even die, because of could not hold the burden of life that worsened day by day. If I was pharaoh with his intellectuality and his wealth; I am going to be rich time by time, my brain will help to make idiocy growing forever, and they can not do anything because of their stupidity, they afraid of my super power ability to intimidate them. Who is in this world that doesn’t want to be rich, smart, and fear some?
The end of pharaoh story is contemptible: he drown within red sea! Pharaoh face the end of his life gasped in the middle of wild waves, lamentably asked for his friends help and his solid soldiers in vain. His repent and forswear rejected because his breath already in throat, his never ending regret came while Izrail the death angel, pulled out harshly his spirit from his body. From popular life, had authority, smart with his intellectuality, rich and fear some in entire country, pharaoh ended his life within su’ul khatimah bad end of life. If I was pharaoh that should face a tragic dead like pharaoh, better for me to think hundred, thousand, and million times to act badly, ignore, cruel, greedy, and despotic. Who is in this world that want to face death like that? Only stupid person and slave of lust that agree to face his death like pharaoh. So, no way man, I cancel my wish to be pharaoh.
